안녕하십니가 (annyeonghashipnikka), Korea:

I’m very excited to see what my words will look like in Korean, and how your amazing country will respond to Tell My Sons.  We’ve been military partners for so long, I have dozens of friends who speak of their adventures in Korea.  I’m inspired by the thought that Korean readers will want to know about me and my family, and I hope that my story will inspire positive and healthy thoughts as well. I’m very much looking forward to holding a Korean copy of my book in my hands.  Thank you.

안녕 (annyeong),
Mark

你好 (lí-hó),Taiwan:

I am very honored that TELL MY SONS will be read in your far-off country. I never imagined that my writing would reach as many people as it has, and it brings me great joy that the Taiwanese people, whose world is so different from my own, will get to know my family. Thank you for your support, and I hope you enjoy what you read.

再見 (chài-kiàn),
Mark

你好/Nǐhǎo, China!

I am very humbled that TELL MY SONS will be read in your wondrous country. When I wrote the book, I was happy to know that thousands of Americans were reading my writing. This to me was a great success. However, to know that my book will soon be read by Chinese readers is success beyond my wildest dreams. In fact, every time I talk about the various countries that have bought the book, China stands out.  I can’t wait to see what my words look like in Chinese, and I truly look forward to presenting each of my boys a copy of my book written in your beautiful language.  Thank you for your support.

再見再/ Zài jiàn,
Mark

Olá, Brasil!

It brings me endless joy that TELL MY SONS will be read in Brazil.  Yours is a country I studied in depth in college and the knowledge and rich heritage of your people has left an imprint on me the whole of my life.  I hope you all enjoy what you read and I am very proud to be able to share my book with such a beautiful country. I look forward to building new friendships with Brazilian readers.

Dear Australian & New Zealand readers:

I am ecstatic that TELL MY SONS will find itself in bookstores in your countries. Ever since I served with soldiers from Australia and New Zealand in Iraq, I knew I had found kindred souls in that unmistakable larrikin attitude that has served me so well for so long.  When I set out to write the book, I never did imagine that my letters would reach the Land Down Under.  Now I find myself gasping and proclaiming, “stone the crows, cobbers!”  I am continually amazed and humbled that people want to read what I have to say.  I hope that you will find my message resonates with you all in some way, and have already volunteered to do an audiobook in an Aussie accent – an accent which was good enough for my mates to grace me with a slouch hat that I covet to this day.

Cheers Mates,
Mark

Audio Book of "Tell My Sons" Now Available

Amazon has just offered the audiobook narrated in my voice. The contract with them is exclusive, and includes Apple. Order from "buy the book" now.

Feedback from a listener:

If you've read Tell My Sons, you know the beginning pulls at your heart strings. But I challenge you to listen to it in Mark Weber's voice. I was crying 7-minutes in.

As a fellow father of three this struck a special cord with me. ...Even if you've read it, I encourage you to hear it in his voice.
